It's known B2C as an acronym. From the name, we could conclude how to proceed this kind of e-commerce. As the electronic market, which is represented by the company; the same platform online, sells the products via it to the consumer by retail sale or whole-sale.

Consumer-to-Consumer  

This happens in the case of a product or a service sale on any site (such as the site of the seller himself) away from the electronic markets or companies. In addition, a kind of auctions could take place on the platforms of e-commerce in return of a commission deducted by the company from the seller, in accordance with rules and conditions vary from company to another.

  There are kinds of e-commerce organized on the non-profit basis. And they aim at reducing the non-profit management costs of the company, or providing specific service that is relevant to social, political, or religious objectives. They are known as non business EC.

Therefore, we find that the e-commerce is more than just a website where provides specific services. And if we go deep within the e-commerce, we will find that it is about an electronic world which is parallel to the trade world on the ground but based on electronic infrastructure.
