Summary

There are several steps to the detailed procurement procedures that the management of purchases and stores should do during the practice of repetitive work, and highlight the importance of these procedures because they contribute to reduce the pressure on the company and the control and measurement of performance and integration.

Receiving requests and identifying requirements:

The first step of the procurement process begins with the receipt of orders from the Department of Stores or from the departments that have the need for the required procurement through a special form, which requires monitoring and follow-up inventory permanently, to make sure that there are no items in the stores, Available for storage to determine the quantity that can be accommodated.

Determination of contractual specifications is considered as the basis of procurement process, as any  specification or description, that is poorly mentioned or stipulated, would definitely be a major reason for companies' failure in delivery of goods and services required by the client. Contractors, suppliers,  and  vendors  often  use  contract  specifications  and  the  related conditions  as  an  opportunity  to  submit  claims,  complaints,  and  require alterations and amendments of the works, or products and services.

Therefore, this course entitled "Procedures of Procurement Process" is intended to develop the basic skills for forming specifications  of  contracts  and  procurement  agreements,  in  addition  to explaining the significance of such contract specifications, and their impact on the overall procurement process.
