Course in International Cooperation and Partnership in the Field of Scientific Research


Proceeding from the universities’ strategies and their quest to consolidate international cooperation and exchange of knowledge and to benefit from the experiences of international universities, a department for international communication and cooperation in the field of knowledge and scientific research is established. The universities are looking forward to strengthening and developing their activities, and setting policies to establish best practices for relations to serve the universities.

The department develops and oversees a variety of university-wide initiatives and policies related to international research, education, and collaboration. Its mission is to enhance the position of universities regionally and globally by developing educational and research partnerships, and entering the local, Arab and international academic rankings.

  • Approving research and studies projects, following up on their implementation, arbitration, and disbursing them according to the rules regulating that.
  • Means of organizing the link with the various research centers outside the university and cooperating with them.
  • Upgrading the level of research work.
  • Encouraging distinguished and creative people in research work.
  • Publishing research after arbitration in accordance with the rules of arbitration and publication.
  • Encouraging faculty members and other researchers and urging them to conduct innovative scientific research.
  • Creating the means and research capabilities for researchers, especially those who are full-time scientifically, and enabling them to finish their research in an appropriate scientific atmosphere.
  • Simplifying procedures and facilitating cooperation with research centers by coordinating work between and with research centers in international universities.
  • Encouraging joint research between departments and colleges to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of available materials.
  • Contacting local and international research centers and developing cooperation with them through organizing the communication process and developing cooperation with them to benefit from everything that is modern.
